I spent the afternoon at the hospital with Drew on Friday for his pre-op for his tissue biopsy on Monday. Pre-admission, bloodwork and a chest x-ray, probably about 20 minutes worth of work, took over 3 hours. While we were waiting for his chest x-ray, Drew texted his friend who works at the hospital and he was there in just a few minutes to say hello and, of course, give Drew a hard time.

The diagnosis is lymphoma and now we wait to find out the results of the biopsy to see what type and what the treatment will be. They will make a 1 inch incision in the lump above his collarbone and remove enough tissue to do lots of testing. We're in for a rocky road, but ready to face it head on. Please keep up the prayers. :)

Fingers crossed for the best possible outcome today ... whatever that is.
