A Few of our Wisconsin Stops

Once again, the pictures aren't showing up on the post entry. What's up Blogger?

A must stop on our annual Christmas visit to Wisconsin is by Dan and Ruth, Kellie's wonderful godparents. Dan was also the best man in our wedding. It's always a nice Christmas Eve visit.

On one of our stops by Gramma & Grampa Ludeman the kids helped with her wrapping and baking cookies. It's great to be able to go back "home" to the place I grew up, filled with so many happy memories.

Another must is lunch at Suburpia. They have the best sandwiches. YUM!

Pre-Christmas

The pictures aren't showing up in the post box and I can't tell where the text is going, so I'll just put it above the pictures.

Our first visit in Wisconsin was dinner with Uncle Bob and Auntie Chris.

Katie was excited to be able to go into a liquor store in Wisconsin. That's not allowed in Oklahoma until you're 21. The place was packed for Christmas and we actually had a fun time.

Before we left for Wisconsin and he flew off to Philadelphia, Katie and VJ celebrated their Christmas together.

Thanksgiving/Part 3 - Jingle Bell Run

I know I'm behind, but here's one last picture from Thanksgiving. To finish off the weekend we all went out to dinner at a nice little pub downtown Tulsa -- McNellie's.

Now to the present time. Yesterday Kellie ran with a group of teachers from her school in the Jingle Bell Run. It was a 5K race to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. Kellie finished second in her group. This lady here with Kellie was 1st. She recently lost 50 pounds by doing the exercise program P90X. Oh, and by the way, the Biggest Loser, Danny Cahill, lives right by Kellie here in Broken Arrow.

Here's the group of teachers from Kellie's school. Next to Kellie is her sister-in-law, Elizabeth, (the other Mrs. Miller at her school) and her nephew, Jack.
There were cute festive doggies all around. Kim, I thought you'd like this one. Looks like Ginger in her younger days. :)

BOO! WHERE DID MY BODY GO?

Thanksgiving Day - Part 2

I've been TOO busy lately. Haven't even had time to finish up with my Thanksgiving update. Well, here it finally is.

Dave and his assistant, getting the turkey #1 ready. In all we made 4 turkeys, 1 in the oven and 3 in the fryer outside.

Kellie & Chris doing what they do best -- lounging.

Dropping the first turkey in the fryer. Rick was in charge of keeping an eye on the fryer.

Drew's Mimi and his niece joined us for Thanksgiving this year.

We all enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving day. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for.
