Yay TU!

I spent my Sunday afternoon at the University of Tulsa watching the women lose their final chance at making it to the Conference USA tournament. They had to at least tie UCF in order to have any chance to advance. Unfortunately, they lost 0-3. There is only one more game of the season on Friday, then they are done with soccer for a while. The highlight of the game was the halftime entertainment. Wendy, Oven Mit (the Arby's mascot) and Hornsby (the Tulsa Drillers mascot) took on three little kids in a soccer game. The big mean mascots whipped the kids. I'm thinking that wasn't a good move, since the kids probably won't ever want to eat at Wendy's or Arby's again and will boycot the Tulsa Drillers baseball games.

What a football game last night! TU started out great, then had a horrible 2nd quarter. They were losing at halftime but came back strong and defeated the University of Central Florida 49-19 on ESPN. They are now 8-0 and ranked #18. OU is still at #4 and OSU fell to #9, even though they gave #1 Texas such a good game. Kellie is NOT happy about that.

We finally may need to turn the furnace on. Tonight is supposed to fall into the 20's. BRRRR! We've been holding off as long as we can. Drew is even threatening to move out because we're freezing him out. Yeah right! It's great sleeping weather. :)

Filled up my gas tank this morning for $2.09/gallon. Gas below $2.00 a gallon is just around the corner.
