Still No Party Pics

Our eastern view is slowly going away. :( Right now the sunrises are being blocked by a new house under construction and another one has started right next to that one. That leaves only one more vacant lot on top of the hill by us. It'll sure be nice when all of the construction is done. Hopefully we can see the sunrises again in another couple weeks when the sun moves further south. Oh well, at least we still have our sunsets. :)

Now that we have a pool we really notice the insect cycle throughout the year. First I was scooping out june bugs, then black beetles, then catepillars and now it's grasshoppers -- big ones. We also have frogs and toads all summer long and luckily we've had only one very small snake. EEK!

We enjoyed a beautiful day today, but tomorrow brings a 100% chance of rain and a cold front. I was planning on going along with Kellie and her class on a field trip to a ropes course and fishing, but it has already been rescheduled to next week.
