Weekend in Branson

We enjoyed a fun weekend in Branson on the company. I spent most of my time across the street from our hotel at Branson Landing, a wonderful outdoor mall where I got a little early Christmas shopping done.

They have fountains similar to Bellagio in Las Vegas (but on a much smaller scale) which jump up and down and across to music. The big black tubes between the jets of water are for plumes of fire which explode along with the water show. Saturday night we were supposed to eat dinner at a nice Mexican restaurant on their outdoor patio right next to the water/fire shows, but the rainy weather forced us to stay inside. It was delicious!

We stayed at the Hilton Hotel/Convention Center. Right next door was the Branson Scenic Railway station.

We enjoyed our little getaway and returned back home on Sunday afternoon in time to watch the TU women's soccer game in the afternoon and a nice visit with Kellie & Chris Sunday evening.
